Task 4 - Traits of Genre

I think the genre of the song Drunk on Love by Rihanna is Indipop, europop and Trance. 

The Indipop come form The XX in the background which is carried through the song














The Europop and Trance comes from the singer Rihanna.

The normal traits which you see from indipop is 'chilled' people drinking smoking and relaxing. 
Looking at the music video you can see traits of the genre indipop, such as the sepia effect  throughout the video which makes everything seem not as serious, and the birds eye view of the men relaxing playing dominos, drinking and smoking

In pop videos the girls who are the singer are normally
not wearing much clothes so they are more sexual and
appeal to audiences. 

You can see traits of pop 
by the way that she is dressed
quite revealingly, as in most
pop, music videos which most female singers do especially Rihanna. 

It is also contains traits of trance 
as the effect on some areas which are filmed it is quite blurry or handheld which gives this effect of trance music and
the way it makes you feel
